Aniplex USA Offers English Dub for Your Lie in April, Subtitled Tsukimonogatari BD Release

Patrick Seitz to direct Your Lie in April's dub; Bang Zoom! holds open auditions.

Aniplex of America announced at its panel at Anime Expo on Thursday that it will release an English dub of Your Lie in April with ADR director Patrick SeitzBang Zoom! Entertainment is holding open auditions for the dub at Anime Expo. Bang Zoom! Entertainment is also hosting open auditions for Aldnoah.Zero this weekend as well.
Aniplex of America also revealed that it will release Tsukimonogatari on Blu-ray Disc on September 15. The release will have English subtitles only on two discs, along with a booklet, a pinup postcard set, and package illustration by character designer Akio Watanabe. Video extras include textless opening and ending, and promo video and TV ad collections. The Blu-ray Disc set will retail for US$64.99 with a store price of US$49.98. 




Aniplex of America also announced on Thursday that it is releasing its mobile app for Aniplex news and release calendar on iOS and Android devices.
Aniplex of America streamed Your Lie in April on the Aniplex ChannelHulu, and Crunchyroll.Naoshi Arakawa's original shōnen manga that inspired the anime follows Kōsei Arima, a former child prodigy who lost his ability to play the piano when his mother died. His daily life is monochrome, but it begins to gain color when he meets a female violinist by chance. Kaori Miyazono is an audacious go-getter who is overflowing with personality. Enchanted by the girl, Kōsei starts to move forward with his own legs at the age of 14.
Kyōhei Ishiguro (Fairy TailPsycho-Pass episode director) directed the anime at A-1 Pictures off scripts by Takao Yoshioka (High School DxDWATAMOTE). Yukiko Aikei (Accel WorldHorizon in the Middle of Nowhere) served as character designer and chief animation director. Masaru Yokoyama (Queen's BladeFreezing Vibration) composed the music, while Jin Aketagawa (High School DxDanohana) served as sound director.
Tsukimonogatari is the first story in the "Final Season" of NisiOisin's Monogatari Series. The four-episode series aired in Japan on December 31. Crunchyroll and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan.

Digimonstory Cybersleuth Heads West in 2016

Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced at its Anime Expo panel on Thursday that it will release the Digimonstory Cybersleuth PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita game in North and South America in 2016. The company also announced new details for its releases of the Tales of Zestiriagame (including a PC version of Tales of Symhponia), as well as the Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment and Sword Art Online: Lost Song games.
Digimonstory Cybersleuth's story will follow either a female or male protagonist, depending on the player's choice. When strange phenomena begin occurring, the protagonist becomes a "Cybersleuth," and searches for the truth behind the mysteries along with his or her Digimon and their other human allies, Arata Sanada and Nokia Shiromine. Bandai Namco EntertainmentAmerica will release the game in North and South America in 2016. The PS4 version will have a physical release, while the PS Vita version will be digital-only. Bandai Namco Games originally released the game in Japan in March last year.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America also announced at the panel that the same Tales of ZestiriaCollector's Edition previously announced for the game's European release will be available in North America, with the same pre-order bonuses (including the PC version of Tales of Symhponia).Bandai Namco Entertainment America will release the game in North America on PS3, PS4, and PC (via Steam) on October 20. In Europe, the game will debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on October 16, followed by the Steam release on October 20. Brazil will then receive the game on October 23. Tales of Zestiria shipped for PlayStation 3 on January 22 in Japan.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America will release the PC version of Tales of Symphonia in 2016. The release will be based off the Tales of Symphonia Chronicles PS3 HD remaster originally released in Japan in October 2013.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America also announced at the panel that it plans to release theSword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment director's cut PS4 port on July 28 as a digital-only release. The company will also release the Sword Art Online: Lost Song game this fall.
Sword Art Online: Lost Song will receive a bundle promotion on Sony's PLAYSTATION Network. Those who pre-order the game will also receive the Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment game for free. Pre-orders will cost US$59.99.
Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment is a director's cut port of the Sword Art Online Hollow Fragment PlayStation Vita game with enhanced graphics. The PS Vita game launched digitally in North America and Europe last August. Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment for the PS4 will receive a renewed English translation.
Bandai Namco Entertainment promised a better English translation for Sword Art Online Lost Songin October when it was first announced for overseas localization in Asia. Sword Art Online Lost Song shipped for PS3 and PS Vita in Japan on March 26.
Bandai Namco Entertainment America also began streaming an English trailer for both Sword Art Online games on Thursday.
